With distinct voices and close harmonies, Crybaby performs country-western and folk tunes by well-known artists such as Emmy Lou Harris and Bob Dylan, as well as little known songs by Freakwater and The Louvin Brothers. Band Bios |   Song List |   Listen Crybaby are: Leah Moskoff, Vocals After being a member of the Chicago Children's Choir in my youth, I have been singing in showers, answering machines and at birthday parties all across America. Pleading with my sisters to sing Christmas carols repeatedly in the dead of summer so that I might perfect the high harmony in Silent Night or unearth some new twist on Joy to The World, eventually failed to satisfy my craving. It wasn't until I discovered old time country and bluegrass music in my early twenties that I felt truly reborn. Being a harmony junkie, a habit that started as a result of trying to keep myself engaged in the monotone somber hymns sung during church, made forming a musical partnership with Tim an addict's dream come true. Aside from the fact that Tim is probably the only person on this planet who can tolerate my relentless need to indulge in revisiting vocal sweet spots in a particular song time and time again, he is also the person with whom I have made the most rewarding harmonies. "We go together like a moon in June, just like a fork needs a spoon, just like a song that needs a tune, we go together." - George Jones & Tammy Wynette Tim Menard, Vocals, Rhythm Guitar Jon Williams, Vocals, Lead Guitar This gifted guitarist and bass player is from Ohio. He moved to Chicago in the early 90's and has played with Mount Pilot, Kevin O'Donell's Quality Five, and is currently playing with the band Big Breakfast as well as doing sidework for a number of other bands.  back to top   Representative Song List: Back To Kentucky ..........
